balut!!!

well for me this really disgusting food. BALUT is a boiled duck egg with small embryo inside, is a delicacy enjoyed all across philippines. though eating balut has gained global stature as extreme gastronomy, the average filipino considers it is delicious treat. unlike the other street food, balut is always safe as it is always sold piping hot and sealed ( unopened). nutritious and flavorful, it is staple for people working late in the night or coming home in the wee hours of the morning. balut egg is boiled and usually eaten with salt, just like a normal boiled egg.

for me it is worse food because you're never going to look at an egg the same way. tell youself that everytime you crack open an egg from now on you won't be half expecting a leathery wad of bird to come flopping out into the skillet.
